Pricing is on a ‘per tape’ basis for the following formats : VHS, Betamax, VHS-C, Video8, HI8, Digital8, MiniDV, HDMiniDV, MicroMV. Volume discounts apply as per table below. Formats may be combined. One named and numbered MP4 video file is supplied per tape.

By default we only digitise HOME MOVIE footage and cut out recorded TV shows and movies. If you require the TV shows / Movies please tick the check box on the order form. If we only find TV shows / Movies we will put these tapes to the side with a $5 per tape checking fee for our time. Duplicate tapes will be digitised. Standard turnaround time is approx 2-4 weeks. Fast Track Express service is available on request.

VHS (Video Home System) was a home video format developed by JVC in the 1970s. JVC introduced the first VHS recorder/player, the HR-3300, in 1976. Despite competition from formats like Betamax, VHS gained traction in the market.
