Reelbox have been incredibly professional at every step from the initial website for information to inquiries with quotes, and then delivery of the quality digital product. Ron won me over when he saw that my order was large (16 film reels) and offered me great discounts.  For the quality of digitising 8mm and Super 8 film reels dating back to the 1960s - the price was very reasonable. Also staff were very helpful every stage of the way. I just want to say a BIG THANKYOU for my awesome videos being digitised and received last Monday. I have had my box of videos for years now always wanting to have them preserved and so grateful that I came upon Ron's company, and their website tells the truth, they are masters at their craft. It was a wonderful surprise seeing my loved ones come to life again and seeing past family members. I thought these VHS videos were lost for good. Definitely bought tears of happy memories and to see my immediate family who have left this earth to come alive again was magical. To see family parties and happy times with my Mum and sisters again made me feel like they were still with me somehow and I can watch this over and over again to see them again. It is one thing to have photos but to see them in action is truly amazing.
I am truly grateful that I received these so quickly as well and it is really worth paying the extra to have these return to you as this is a great service especially when you live in Perth. The timing was perfect as well as my ex-husband was leaving on the Wednesday (the same week I received the flash drive) to move to Tasmania so I was able to download these onto my computer for my memory bank and to show my sons and to give my ex-husband a parting gift of happy memories of us as a family and seeing us young again (wow to see your children young and yourself is mindblowing to say the least). So, thank you so much for your expertise and professionalism and creating our memories for us. Thank you for giving me back time to see my family story.

Super easy and professional way to bring old slides into this century. We mailed boxes of slides from my parents’ home in rural South Australia and received both a USB and a cloud link within a few weeks (we were in no hurry).

The quality exceeded our expectations - the images are clear, vibrant, and carefully handled. Seeing these memories again was incredibly meaningful for our family. Without digitizing them, many would have deteriorated or been lost entirely.

Ron also kindly reshared the link to the Cloud for overseas folks, and it's organized in nice files as well.

Couldn't be happier with the recent job Reelbox completed for me with transforming six video 8 tapes to USB.

What an amazing job they did to be able to transfer our tapes to USB, AND in top condition. Although a few tapes were a little damaged ( after over 30 years in storage), Reelbox worked their magic to give us back our precious memories from years ago, to watch once again.

The reactions, smiles and laughs on everyone's faces made the experience so very worth while. 

Prices are affordable, they have speedy replies and are quick to complete order and post back. 

Will definitely be using and trusting Reelbox again!

I sent in a whole heap of negatives to be digitised. Initially they took a long time, and then in the folder they sent me, there were some duplicated photos - meaning that I had been overcharged (a little), plus was concerned that if they hadn't been scanned systematically, some had been missed. I wasted a lot of time going through them to weed out the duplicates too. So why leave a 5-star review? Because they seriously did something about it! The manager/director Ron wrote back to me, profusely apologised, and then proceeded to rescan the whole lot (almost 800 in total). Plus he did the rescan at a higher resolution for goodwill. They offered to refund the cost for the negatived that had been scanned twice too. The whole thing took a couple of months - nothing happened quickly but that wasn't an issue for me as I wasn't in a rush. So I'm giving the five stars because they proved to me that they have professional standards and are willing to make amends if something falls short of that.

Excellent - from start to finish
I recently had all my photos digitised, about 1,000 in total with some being 40+ years old along with my 25yo wedding VHS.

The quality was fabulous, the process was easy and the staff were lovely to deal with.  I had been putting this job off for so long because it was such a daunting task.  

The photos came back packaged better than they were delivered along with my USB in a case and clearly labeled what had been done, along with a report on what had and hadn't been completed (all my photos and video were good enough quality there were no errors).  

I didn't have them bundled into groups, so I guess all that's left for me now is my trip down memory lane as I sort them on my PC and complete my photo book for the future.

I highly highly recommend Reelbox services. Don't procrastinate on saving and restoring those precious memories! Just do it! I was fortunate enough to come across Reelbox online, and after speaking with their team, I was extremely confident they were the right people to use. I'm based in Melbourne, but could not find anyone near as helpful and professional (and well-priced) like Reelbox around me, so I sent my 17 tapes interstate to them and received my cassettes back well packaged, with a very well digitised copy on usb of each. just wanted to express my gratitude in the conversion of my 18 year old broken 8mm tape. I had all but given up retrieving the footage as other companies had told me it was irreparable. I held onto in hope that maybe someday someone could help.  This was the only video footage I had of my youngest child as a baby and so it is priceless and was a real treat to get to see that after all these years.

I just wanted to say a massive thanks for digitising the first lot of my negatives.  I’m so impressed with them.  They are the oldest of the negatives I have and I realise there was going to be some aging and staining amongst them.  For me, it’s not about having a perfect photo, it’s more about maintaining that moment in time.

Faultless service and fascinating to see 16 & 8mm family history hidden in a box for 80 years! The speed of the process provided by Reelbox was amazing and despite some trepidation with postal services the whole process worked better than advertised. I was surprised a projector wasn't with the film when we found it and considered buying one, but digitising was a one stop solution that not only provided far better resolution than a screen on a wall but also minimised damage to the reels themselves as well as avoiding storing another antique piece of equipment for the next 80 years!

If you are reading reviews (as I did) thinking about getting it done, this isn't too good to be true, it's worth the money and if you do it now you'll have antique video in glorious Smart TV technicolour before next Sunday's BBQ! Don't hesitate.

I had Reelbox preserve the memories of my father and mother who have both passed away. We had their many slides and photos transferred to high resolution on a USB. I am extremely happy with the results and the cost for this task of over 1300 images was extremely reasonable.
We were always advised of the progress of our job and our timeframe was as we expected.
Would highly recommend Reelbox to anyone who needs to digitise their images.

Superb service. Sent 1000ft of super 8 film over 14 different reels. Transfer was perfect. Took less than two weeks, came back individually numbered with a full report  on each reel. Feels so good to get rid of the camcorder and stack of tapes that my family has been hoarding around for decades!

When I came across Reelbox I was instantly attracted to their set pricing page; very reasonable and you know exactly what you’re paying for. Really impressed with the digitisation quality and communication throughout. The final project report was a bonus, very detailed and thorough.

Kept me informed through the entire process: an email to say the tapes had been received, another that they were being processed and yet another that the usb was on its way back to me.
